What are the heating methods of the emulsifying mixer?

1. Electric heating method

Among the heating methods of the emulsifying mixer, electric heating is a common heating method. The electric heating method is usually to heat the medium in the emulsification tank interlayer: water or heat transfer oil through the electric heating rod installed in the emulsification tank. After the medium is heated, the heat is transferred to the material in the emulsification tank.

If there is no steam source, additional steam generator equipment is required to generate steam in advance through electric heating for reuse. This heating method has fast heating speed, convenient use, convenient cooling, and can also be processed by steam sterilization.

However, because this heating method generates pressure on the emulsification pot of the high-shear vacuum homogenizing emulsifier, it is often necessary to heat the pot with steam into the pressure vessel through an enterprise with a pressure vessel license to ensure production safety. Therefore, this heating method is relatively expensive.

In the production process of some products, standard electric heating and steam heating cannot meet the temperature requirements, and external heating equipment, such as external mold temperature controllers, chillers, and other auxiliary equipment can also be selected. To sum up, generally speaking, the electric heating emulsifying mixer is more economical and the heating effect is guaranteed. From the perspective of cost, the electric heating method is more practical, so the scope of use is wider. The steam heating emulsifying mixer is suitable for large-scale production or special process requirements. In the production of products in some industries, especially in the pharmaceutical industry where steam sterilization is required, the application of steam heating is also common.
