How does the emulsifier complete the uniform emulsification process?

Emulsifier is a common operating unit in daily chemical, food, pharmaceutical and other industries, used to convert two immiscible liquids (one of which is almost always water, and the other is water-insoluble "oil") A device that captures L liquid into a uniformly distributed liquid-liquid dispersion system. According to the theory of emulsion stability, to make the formed dispersion system maintain a relatively stable state for a long time, the droplets should be as small as possible, usually less than 10um. The emulsifier equipment produced by YeKeey is designed based on this principle. Through the mechanical energy provided by the high-speed rotating high-shear stator and rotor system and the corresponding scraping and stirring system, one phase is mixed into the other phase. The deformation and rupture of the coarse droplets continuously reduce the diameter of the coarse droplets and eventually complete the uniform emulsification process.

In addition, in the emulsification tank, the material is quickly broken into micro-droplets of 120nm to 2um through the combined effects of stirring, shearing, impacting, and compression through the combined action of a scraping wall stirring paddle and high-shear homogenizer, then become the stable emulsion state.

YeKeey’s emulsifier adopts a combination of counter-rotating-stirring paddle and high-shear homogenizer. In order to make the material agitate more evenly, a scraper is installed on the mixing frame to fit the inner surface of the tank. Sweep the wall surface quickly during the mixing process, so that the material body and the tank wall continuously form a new wall surface, which improves the heat exchange efficiency while ensuring the uniformity of the high-viscosity material in the tank, ensuring that the upper, middle, and bottom materials can be uniform mixing without dead ends.

100L explosion-proof vacuum mixing emulsifier shipped to Harbin pharmaceutical factory

An old customer of a pharmaceutical manufacturer in Harbin added a new pharmaceutical production line and needed an emulsifying and mixing equipment for the production of new drugs. This old customer’s pharmaceutical R&D equipment pilot emulsifier uses Y eKeey ’s ZJR series  laboratory emulsifier . Successful pilot development needs to be transferred to pilot production. In order to ensure that new products can be produced by Y eKeey ’s pilot emulsifier   f or high-quality finished products, the customer also specially sent technicians to Y eKeey  for on-site testing. The finished product produced by the on-site test machine met the customer's product quality standard, so the customer quickly placed an order with   Y eKeey .   According to the customer's production safety requirements, this explosion-proof homogeneous emulsifier is designed to fully meet the customer's technological production requirements. Y eKeey ’s ZJR series vacuum homogenizing em...

Five major problems and solutions in the production of carbomer gel!

Carbomer is a commonly used raw material in the production of many cosmetics and pharmaceutical products. It is a white, loose powder, which is widely used due to its stable nature, non-irritating and non-allergic reaction. Produce alcohol hand washing gel, medical gynecological gel and other products in the industry. Carbomer is a kind of raw material we often hear in the communication of raw materials and processes for customers who consult the vacuum emulsifier . I often hear that customers have some process problems that are not easy to solve in the production of Carbomer. What are the specific problems? What kind of solutions are given by the technical team of Y eKeey , let's take a look! 1.  Carbomer is generally a white powder and is used for thickening. When mixing with water, lumps often appear. When mixed with water, if the emulsifier equipment is inefficient, it may form agglomerates. This means that aeration or air entrainment should be prevented during the mixin...
